new to therapy
It is common for people who are considering therapy for the first time to have curiosity about how it might help them AND also have some apprehension about what it will be like.
I work with lots of people who are new to therapy and are feeling this way after a recent life event or experience has led them to wanting to explore therapy now.
Whether it’s a recent breakup, a work/career issue, the death of a loved one, a recent traumatic experience, or a desire to talk about something personal they haven’t explored before, I welcome folks who are seeking new space to take care of themselves, to better understand themselves, and to continue working towards the life they seek.
Learn more about how I work and reach out if you’d like to schedule a complimentary 15-minute phone call to explore working together. On this call, I’ll ask to hear a bit about what’s bringing you to seek out therapy and answer any questions you might have for me. Then, we can decide if it feels like a good fit and if so, we can move forward with scheduling an initial full appointment.
